5 March 2024
Naturacheval’s marine clay is finally making its debut in the Naturacheval range!
Here is a product 100% from your requests! You asked us for it, and we developed it. Naturacheval’s marine clay contains all the benefits of the land and the sea. Enriched with marine active ingredients, our clay will help your 4-legged friends recover from their efforts, and always thanks to the benefits of nature!
Clay is a sedimentary rock that forms a wealth of ionic compounds, allowing contact with water to swell. These are the same compounds that give clay its absorbent and adsorbent properties. When clay is applied to an area, in contact with air, the paste dries, this loss of water content allows these ionic compounds to promote the suction of toxins from the treated area.
100% natural and 100% French, to try it is to adopt it!
THE BENEFITS OF CLAY FOR SPORT OR LEISURE HORSES
- Optimizes muscle recovery : thanks to its absorbent action, clay brings out toxins, body waste, inflammatory fluids and various secretions from the horse’s body.
- Strong adsorption capacities : naturally antibacterial, it absorbs and retains on its surface the toxins and microbes with which it is in contact.
- Natural anti-inflammatory effect : particularly effective in soothing joint and muscle pain, clay catapasms are very beneficial for sport horses subjected to intense effort.
- Toning, restructuring and decongestant action : Naturacheval’s marine clay tightens the tissues through its astringent action and promotes the regeneration of muscle and skin tissue.
- Cooling and relaxing effect: applied as a poultice to horses’ legs, it provides a cooling effect that helps to relax the muscles and reduce tension.
- Improves blood circulation : convalescent horses, hot feet, pain, the clay applied to the limbs stimulates blood flow and soothes local engorgement and pain.
FOR WHAT SITUATIONS?
Do you want to start a wellness routine for your horse? You can already start with these weekly clay poultices or even 2 to 3 times a week. Whether he is a leisure or sport horse, young or old, with a pathology or not, clay is your ally for your horse to:
- Helping the horse recover from its efforts
- Promote the recovery of tendons and joints
- Unclogging the horse’s limbs
- Relieving your horse of trauma
- Limit inflammation
We do not recommend applying clay to an open wound, as the active ingredients could irritate the already weakened area.
It also offers you a moment of care and special complicity with your pet, why deprive yourself of it?
HOW TO APPLY CLAY
After cleaning to remove perspiration, sand and soil, we recommend using sea clay in the form of a poultice. You can leave it on for a few hours, at least 3 hours, until the poultice is dry because it is by drying that the clay will be able to suck toxins and unwanted substances from the treated area. To remove the clay, simply rinse with clean water or brush the area in the winter.
It is important to consult with a veterinarian or equine specialist before introducing any new treatments, including sea clay, into your horse’s care regimen.
