Why a roll-on?
At Naturacheval, we have been offering you our repellent spray for years, and it has been a great success! Highly practical, the Spray format is ideal for quickly covering the animal’s body before mounting it outdoors or leaving it in the field. Nevertheless, the spray has two limitations: the horse’s tolerance and the precision of application.
For sensitive or fearful horses, on areas such as the nostrils, eye contours, genitals or belly line, the roll-on allows for precise and quiet application. However, these places are among the most targeted by insects, because they are often not very hairy and rich in vascularization.
The roll-on also prevents product loss and allows only the necessary areas to be targeted. The product is deposited in a thin layer, without dripping or irritating. It can be applied several times a day if necessary, especially during periods of high insect activity or after significant effort (transpiration).
Its small size makes it a great ally to slip into a trouser pocket or grooming bag, for use during competitions, hikes or outdoor work sessions.
Here are some areas to focus on:
- The nostrils and eye area, while taking care to avoid direct contact with the mucous membranes
- The base of the ears and the underside of the jaw
- The line of the belly, between the hind legs
- The inner side of the thighs and the genital area
- The inside of the limbs, often prone to tick attacks
